The Swords of Highlander

Limited Edition Highlander Swords

1/1/07

HIGHLANDER PROJECT DISCONTINUED - Existing Orders will be filled but no further reservations will be taken

Through a special license arrangement with the Davis-Panzer Merchandising Corporation, Film Swords is extremely proud to announce a Limited Edition of the Connor MacLeod Masamune Katana and the Kurgan Sword from the 1986 feature film Highlander (and its sequels).

One of the most exciting and challenging things we can do as swordmakers is to recreate a film (or historical) original. It takes time, patience and every ounce of craftsmanship to bring a recreation to life faithfully. In so many ways, it is much more difficult than creating a new sword design.

The Highlander Limited Edition Swords have been a dream project of ours since seeing the first film in 1986. No expense will be spared on materials or workmanship, delivering to you a sword that is beautiful, accurate, and fully functional. Each sword will be a painstaking reproduction of the film original, using actual film props as molds and models, and working with the original artists such as Jose de Braga, maker of the Highlander III katana.

These swords have been much sought-after by sword collectors and film prop enthusiasts since the first film debuted in 1986.
